They are not scripted following pre-determined stops.
I throughly research my tours and include in my commentary lots of interesting facts, amusing anecdotes and off the cuff stories.
I am flexible and can include rest, coffee and even beer breaks on request. I am considerate to slower walkers and can shorten routes if required.
