I have been leading Walks in Dublin for over 14 years. I aim to educate, amaze, amuse and entertain, learn a little, laugh alot!
Besides being a lifelong student of history I achieved a Distinction in Dublinia’s Viking and Medieval history courses.
I am constantly reading and researching Dublin’s rich historical past.
I offer a range of walks from the ever popular ‘Grand Tour‘ a general overview of the city’s thousand years of history.
My James Joyce tour gives an insight into his work and life in Edwardian Dublin.
My Literary tour explores the places associated with the many famous writers and their pubs!
The 1916 Easter Rebellion tour visits many of the sites associated with the fighting and examines the aftermath.
My Georgian Architecture tour looks at the many fine examples of public and private buildings and explains the social diversity of the period.
The Museums and Galleries tour offers an insightful look at our history and social lives through paintings and artifacts.
In my spare time I enjoy reading, museums, pubs, golf, traveling, meeting people, red wine and having the craic!(fun)
